Reporting of Suspected Fraudulent Communications

Customers are advised to report any suspected fraudulent or phishing communications received through Phone Calls, SMS, Email, or WhatsApp on the Chakshu facility available under the Sanchar Saathi Portal.

Please remain vigilant and never disclose confidential banking information, such as OTP, MPIN/PIN, Login ID, Password, Debit/Credit Card details, CVV, or any other authentication credentials, to anyone. The Bank will never ask for such information through phone calls, SMS, email, or social media platforms.

Steps to Report a Suspected Fraudulent Communication on the Sanchar Saathi Portal

  1. Visit the Sanchar Saathi Portal at www.sancharsaathi.gov.in.
  2. Navigate to Citizen Centric Services and select "Chakshu – Report Suspected Fraud Communication / Unsolicited Commercial Communication (UCC/SPAM)".
  3. Choose "Report Suspected Fraud Communication" (applicable for communications received within the last 30 days) and click Continue.
  4. Select the communication channel (Call, SMS, Email, WhatsApp, etc.) and the relevant fraud category.
  5. Enter the details of the suspected communication. You may also upload a screenshot of the communication, if available (optional).
  6. Verify your mobile number using the OTP received and provide your name.
  7. Accept the declaration and submit the report.

Customers are encouraged to promptly report suspicious communications to help prevent cyber fraud and protect the banking ecosystem.
